Berliner Leben
I´ve moved to Berlin and the works continues, in some new form. I am now looking for a creative space to work and I´m very keen on getting started with new art projects.

In recent years, I have been interested in the city and change. My fascination for cranes only grows. I love the silhouette that lift cranes create toward the sky, the spacing shapes that focus my focus on what’s not always visible.
It is a great symbol for change and innovation. A new era of futurism, in a crowded cityscape. I have created a series of paintings in which I assumed impressions from the city, interpreted by my temper.
Material: Acrylic, carbon and posca pencils on canvas.
Now I will be showing my paintings from the series Hypnagogy at Nekropolis in Copenhagen. Vernissage Saturday 18 January at 19:00. The paintings will hang there for 6 weeks so there’s plenty of time to take a look.

Welcome!
Hypnagogia is the experience of the transitional states to and from sleep: the hypnagogic and the hypnopompic states of consciousness. The related words from the Greek are agōgos “leading, inducing”, pompe “act of sending”, and hypnos “sleep”.
My method is to investigate the hypnagoga condition that occurs post coitus. From these pictures and impressions I get my inspiration.
In my art, I try to transform these impressions into paintings, painted in layers of layered technology, where the permeability and abstract character of the painting reflect the horror of images and lights that occur during the hypnagoga phase.
Material: carbon, acrylic, glove and posca pens on canvas.
